BOSTON -- A pedophile who was found bludgeoned to death in his cell at MCI-Norfolk this week was bragging that he was still sexually virile -- leading another convict to kill him, several law enforcement sources told Newscenter 5.
Robert Silva, 64, who was slated for release in early 2012 after serving 10 years for raping a child, was found dead Sunday.
Another convicted killer, Christopher Fletcher, confessed to murdering Silva, saying that he was upset that the pedophile referred to his remaining sexual prowess, the sources said.
“He told us he felt like he was doing a public service,’’ said one source.
