Kragen dør. Splinterne farer rundt til alle sider og rammer osse vitale dele.
Jeg brugte V-Max på tæt ved 500 præriehunde i Montana og jeg oplevede kun 1 eneste gang at de ikke døde øjeblikkeligt.
Forøvrigt findes der kun 1 producent af 17 HMR ammunition. Det er CCI.
Uanset om der står Remington, Hornady, Federal eller noget 4de, så er de ladet med samme krudt og produceret på CCI.
Projektilerne er næsten alle fra Hornady og FMJ er fra Speer.

No matter what brand you are using they are all using a projectile made by Hornady. So that is exactly the same projectile in every brand. (Forget about Speer in this example)
No matter what brand you are using they are all using CCI powder and the same amount of grains.
The brass is stamped by CCI, the only difference in the brass is the headstamp is changed for each different brand. Its the same brass as well.
So how can a rifle prefer one brand over another. They are all exactly the same. I really mean EXACTLY.
The only variation that can change is machine calibration, as in powder amounts, projectile seating depths etc. This changes but it changes with every brand, its basic machine principles. You set your calibration, start producing, then check the output product every 20,000 rounds, then re adjust the machinery.
If you see group size changes then its most likely batch lot variations as per the above paragraph or the shooter.
